Sat Dec 07 15:49:04 UTC 2024: ## BJP Leaders Criticize Congress Government in Telangana

**Hyderabad, December 7, 2024** – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders launched a strong attack against the Congress government in Telangana, accusing it of failing to fulfill its election promises and betraying various sections of society. Addressing a public meeting in Hyderabad, BJP national president J.P. Nadda highlighted the Congress government’s alleged failures in implementing schemes for farmers and farm laborers, describing it as a government of “magicians creating illusions.” He contrasted this with the BJP’s governance, claiming the party governs independently in 13 states and through alliances in six more. Nadda asserted that Telangana’s development could only occur under BJP rule and urged public support in upcoming elections.

Telangana BJP president G. Kishan Reddy echoed these sentiments, labeling the Congress and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) as “two sides of the same coin.” He criticized the government’s alleged failure to sanction new pensions and ration cards. Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar further accused the Congress government of being a “puppet of urban Naxalites” and exacerbating communal tensions. All three BJP leaders expressed confidence in a BJP victory in upcoming local body elections, including the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls.
