**FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.** – Adou Thiero led the Arkansas Razorbacks to a 75-60 victory over UTSA on Saturday, showcasing a dominant performance that included 26 points and 10 rebounds. Thiero’s impressive outing, matching his career high, saw him shoot 8-of-10 from the field and 10-of-13 from the free-throw line. His contributions were crucial in a second-half surge that saw the Razorbacks overcome a halftime deficit.
UTSA, led by Primo Spears’ 19 points (including 3-of-3 from three-point range in the first half), held a 32-27 lead at the break. However, Arkansas dominated the second half, shooting 66.7% from the field and hitting 10 of 11 free throws. Thiero scored 17 of his points in the second half, while Johnell Davis added 10, fueling the Razorbacks’ comeback. Davis finished with 13 points, including three three-pointers.
The Razorbacks’ improved shooting and strong free-throw performance in the second half proved decisive, allowing them to overcome their relatively poor first-half shooting (38.5% overall, 3-of-9 from three). Marc Millender added 18 points for UTSA, but it wasn’t enough to counter Arkansas’ second-half surge.
