**Yadgir, Karnataka, December 7, 2024** – Procurement centers have opened across Yadgir district to purchase paddy and jowar from farmers under the minimum support price (MSP) scheme, Deputy Commissioner B. Susheela announced.
Farmers will receive ₹2,300 per quintal for normal paddy, ₹2,320 for A-grade paddy, ₹3,371 for hybrid jowar, and ₹3,421 for Maldandi jowar. Registration is underway at centers located in Yadgir, Shorapur, Shahapur, Hunsagi, and Naikal taluks, utilizing the FRUIT software. Farmers facing software issues should contact their respective RSKs for assistance.
A maximum of 50 quintals of paddy and 150 quintals of jowar will be purchased per farmer. Farmers are responsible for providing their own bags, with procurement agencies offering a ₹6 per bag reimbursement. Contact numbers for further information have been released.
