**Hyderabad, December 7, 2024** – The Telangana government announced the appointment of acting vice-chancellors for two prominent universities in the state. Toparapu Gangadhar, principal of the College of Fine Arts, has been appointed as the in-charge Vice-Chancellor for Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Hyderabad. Simultaneously, V. Balakista Reddy, chairman of the Telangana Council of Higher Education, will serve as the in-charge Vice-Chancellor for Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University- Hyderabad (JNTUH). Both appointments are temporary, until further notice. The announcements were made on Saturday via an order issued by Principal Secretary (Education) N. Sridhar.
