Sat Dec 07 12:50:58 UTC 2024: ## Everton to Keep Jack Harrison Despite Speculation

**Liverpool, England –** Everton have no intention of terminating Jack Harrison’s loan deal in January, despite the winger’s lack of goals and recent benching, sources have revealed to TEAMtalk. The 28-year-old, on loan from Leeds United, has featured regularly but has yet to register a goal or assist this season, fueling speculation about a mid-season return to Elland Road.

However, Everton considers Harrison a valuable squad member and his loan spell will continue, at least for now. This stance could change following the anticipated takeover by the Friedkin Group, expected before Christmas. While a return to Leeds is deemed unlikely this winter, Sky Sports journalist Dan Bardell believes a future move to Elland Road remains a possibility.

The Friedkin Group faces numerous challenges upon assuming ownership, including eight first-team players, including Harrison, out of contract next summer, and three additional players on loan. The future of manager Sean Dyche is also uncertain, with the new owners reportedly considering potential replacements including Sergio Conceicao, Edin Terzic, Graham Potter, and – less likely – Maurizio Sarri. The club also faces the decision of whether to offer Michael Keane a new contract, or allow the centre-back to leave on a free transfer.
