**Raipur, Chhattisgarh (December 7, 2024):** Chhattisgarh is expected to experience a significant change in weather over the next few days. The state’s meteorological department forecasts a temperature drop of 2-3 degrees Celsius in central Chhattisgarh and 3-4 degrees in the north over the next three days. This drop is attributed to cold, dry winds from the north and moisture from the Bay of Bengal.
Light to moderate rain is predicted in parts of the state starting December 7th, with heavier rainfall anticipated on December 8th in 16 districts, including Korba, Manendragarh-Chirmiri, Bharatpur, Surajpur, Balrampur, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Bilaspur, Mungeli, Raipur, Gariaband, and Dhamtari, due to a western disturbance.
