Sat Dec 07 11:35:16 UTC 2024: ## CBSE Issues Show Cause Notices to 34 Schools for Non-Compliance

**New Delhi:** The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued show cause notices to 34 schools for violating board regulations. The board also warned schools against participating in sporting events organized by the “CBSE Board School Games Welfare Society (CBSE-WSO)” in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, clarifying that the organization has no affiliation with the CBSE.

The action follows a previous circular (No. 04/2019 dated 30.01.2019) reminding schools of their obligation to adhere to the Affiliation Bye-Laws, 2018. Clause 12 of these bye-laws specifies that non-compliance constitutes a violation, leading to disciplinary action as outlined in Chapter 12. The CBSE further emphasized Clause 9.2, which mandates school heads to ensure strict adherence to all board regulations and directives.

A list of the schools receiving show cause notices is available on the official CBSE website. The board stresses the importance of compliance with its rules and regulations.
