**Dausa, Rajasthan:** A three-day Pulse Polio immunization campaign will commence in Dausa district on December 8th, aiming to vaccinate 285,115 children. The initiative, organized by the medical and health department, will utilize a multi-pronged approach.
On the first day, vaccination will take place at designated booths. Subsequently, on December 9th and 10th, teams will conduct door-to-door vaccinations. A total of 4861 health officials and staff will participate. All vaccinators and cold chain handlers have completed their training.
The campaign will encompass all three district hospitals, four sub-district hospitals, 28 community health centers (CHCs), 68 primary health centers (PHCs), and 360 sub-health centers. Additionally, temporary booths will be set up.
A robust team structure is in place, with 1937 fixed two-member booths manned by 3834 personnel. An equal number of teams will conduct home visits. Further support will come from 101 transit teams (202 members) and 303 mobile booths (606 personnel). Supervision will be provided by 213 supervisors (204 rural, 9 urban) along with district and block-level officials. All preparations are complete, ensuring a smooth and effective campaign.
