**Tokyo, December 5, 2024** – NEC Personal Computers today launched the LAVIE NEXTREME X1475/JAS, a new 14-inch notebook designed for portability and performance. This 2024 autumn/winter model features AMD’s Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 processor, making it a “Copilot+PC” ideal for AI tasks.

Weighing just 1.39kg, the X1475/JAS boasts a 14-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) IPS non-glare display housed in a durable aluminum chassis. Other key specifications include 32GB of memory, a 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Home, and bundled Microsoft 365 Basic + Office Home & Business 2024. Connectivity options are extensive, featuring Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two Thunderbolt 4/USB4 Gen3 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, an HDMI port, and a headphone/microphone jack.

The laptop offers impressive battery life, with approximately 11.7 hours of video playback and 23.3 hours of idle time (JEITA 3.0). Security features include Windows Hello facial and fingerprint recognition. The X1475/JAS is available in Luna Gray. Pricing was not disclosed in the release.
