NEW DELHI, December 5, 2024 – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced the results of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination today. A total of 186,509 candidates have qualified and will proceed to the Tier 2 examination. The results, including cutoff marks and a selection list, are available as a PDF on the SSC website (ssc.gov.in).

The Tier 1 exam, held from September 9th to 26th, was conducted online. Results were calculated using a normalized formula to account for multiple exam shifts. A negative marking of 0.50 points per incorrect answer was applied. Separate cutoff marks were set for various posts, including Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Statistical Investigator Grade-II, reflecting different Tier 2 requirements. The results also indicate that 146 candidates’ results have been withheld due to pending court orders.
