LONDON – The Premier League Charitable Fund has launched a survey to gauge the long-term impact of its Premier League Kicks program, a community initiative that has engaged over half a million young people since 2006. The survey seeks feedback from alumni to understand the program’s effectiveness in providing opportunities and positive change.
The program’s success is highlighted through the story of Kyran Graham, a former participant who is now a youth engagement coach. Graham credits Premier League Kicks with turning his life around, providing him with mentorship, training, and ultimately a fulfilling career. He began as a participant, volunteering, and eventually securing a full-time role with Leyton Orient Trust, even being named a ‘Local Legend’ in 2022. Graham emphasizes the program’s ability to reach vulnerable youth, offering a safe space and positive role models.
Premier League Kicks operates in partnership with 93 clubs across England and Wales, using football to engage young people in some of the most challenging communities. The program provides opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and community engagement, fostering positive change and creating a sense of belonging. The ongoing survey aims to further understand and quantify the program’s lasting impact on participants’ lives.
