**New Delhi, December 5, 2024** – The Indian Parliament descended into chaos today following a blistering attack by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) against Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of being a “traitor” in league with American agencies and billionaire George Soros to destabilize India. The accusations, levelled during a heated parliamentary session, triggered strong condemnation from the Congress party and led to temporary adjournments in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

The BJP’s offensive stemmed from a recent report by French publication Mediapart, which highlighted alleged links between the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), a global investigative journalism network, and the US government.
