**SHIMOMOGGA, Karnataka – December 5, 2024** – Former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has urged BJP members to unite against the ruling Congress government, urging an end to internal party squabbling. Speaking to reporters today, Mr. Yediyurappa stressed the importance of collective action to expose the Congress government’s shortcomings during the upcoming legislative session. He stated that infighting within the BJP will only benefit the opposition.
Mr. Yediyurappa also responded to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s comments regarding the Enforcement Directorate’s investigation into the alleged MUDA scam. He suggested that the Chief Minister’s reaction stems from concern over the ED’s findings and criticized Siddaramaiah’s comments as unbefitting his position.
Meanwhile, Shivamogga Lok Sabha member B.Y. Raghavendra criticized the recent Congress party convention in Hassan as a diversionary tactic from corruption allegations against the Chief Minister and others. He further condemned the Congress party for disrupting the Lok Sabha session, preventing discussion of important issues and new bills. Mr. Raghavendra expressed hope for a more productive parliamentary session in the future.
