**New Delhi, India –** Honda Cars India has launched the new generation Honda Amaze in the Indian market, starting at an introductory price of Rs. 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated sedan is offered in three variants: V, VX, and ZX. A key highlight is the improved fuel economy, with the manual transmission boasting an ARAI-claimed mileage of 18.65 kmpl and the CVT automatic achieving 19.46 kmpl.
Mechanically, the Amaze retains its 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 89bhp and 110Nm of torque, paired with either a five-speed manual or CVT gearbox.
However, the real upgrade lies in its features. The new Amaze boasts several first-in-segment technologies, including a Level 2 Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS) suite. Top-spec models also include a large touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, a wireless charger, a Type-C charging port, a lane watch camera, rear parking camera and sensors, rear AC vents, and six airbags. The inclusion of ADAS is a significant step up in safety features for this segment. The updated Honda Amaze promises a compelling combination of fuel efficiency, advanced technology, and competitive pricing.
