AMARAVATI, INDIA – A series of minor earthquakes rattled several districts of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday morning, causing panic among residents. Tremors were felt across the state, with reports coming in from Vijayawada, Jaggaiahpeta, Eluru, and Visakhapatnam. In Vijayawada, the ground shook for a few seconds, prompting people to flee their homes. Similar incidents were reported in Jaggaiahpeta’s surrounding villages and several areas in West Godavari district, including Jangareddigudem, Jeelugumilli, Buttayiguddem, and Koyyalaguddem. In Visakhapatnam, slight tremors were felt in some areas around Seethammadhara between 7:27 AM and 7:28 AM.

While the tremors caused widespread fear, officials reported no casualties or significant property damage.
