**NEW DELHI** – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the exam city slip, or pre-admit card, for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024 examination. Candidates who applied can download their city slip from the official CTET website, ctet.nic.in.

The city slip indicates the exam city, date, and center. It is a provisional document and not the final admit card, which CBSE will release separately, two days before the exam, expected to be December 12th. The actual CTET exam is scheduled for December 14th, 2024, across 136 cities. In cities with high candidate numbers, the exam may extend to December 15th. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: Paper 1 (2:30 PM to 5:00 PM) and Paper 2 (9:30 AM to 12:00 PM).

Candidates are advised to download the city slip by following these steps:

1. Visit ctet.nic.in.
2. Click on the ‘View Date & City of CTET Dec 2024’ link.
3. Enter application number and date of birth.
4. Download the city slip and print a copy for future reference.

The final admit card is mandatory for entry to the examination hall. Online registration for the CTET December 2024 exam ran from September 17th to October 16th.
