**MUMBAI, INDIA –** Comedian-actor Sunil Pal, who was reported missing earlier this week, has been found safe and sound. His wife, Sarita Pal, filed a missing person’s report with the Santacruz police on Sunday after being unable to reach him following his departure for a show outside Mumbai.

Pal, who rose to fame after winning *The Great Indian Laughter Challenge* in 2005, had reportedly told his wife he would return on December 3rd. However, when she couldn’t contact him, she alerted authorities. While details remain scarce, a friend and a trade analyst both confirmed Pal had been facing an unspecified “problem” which has since been resolved.

A social media video posted by Pal before his disappearance showed him enjoying a speedboat ride, though the location wasn’t disclosed. He was located within hours of the missing person report and has since contacted his wife and the police. Sarita Pal has declined to comment further on the incident. Pal is expected to return to Mumbai on December 4th.
