A suicide note was found at her residence, containing the message “Everything perfect… if you want to die you can do it.” While preliminary investigations indicate no marital discord between Shobitha and her husband, Sudhir Reddy, police are exploring whether pre-existing mental health issues or other factors contributed to her death.
Statements have been recorded from Sudhir Reddy and neighbors. Police have confirmed that the couple met through a Bengaluru matrimonial site, and that Shobitha stopped acting after her marriage. The investigation is focusing on Shobitha’s recent communications and interactions.
Shobitha’s father-in-law, Buchireddy, stated that the couple appeared happy and that there were no marital problems. He expressed his shock and grief, emphasizing the couple’s harmonious relationship and his son’s support for Shobitha’s choices.
