**Hyderabad, December 2, 2024** – Thonangi Kanthi Dutt, 24, owner of Tritiyaa Fine Jewellery in Jubilee Hills, was arrested on Saturday for allegedly defrauding multiple investors, including Tollywood and Bollywood celebrities. Dutt, who operated several companies, lured investors with promises of high returns before misappropriating funds.
The arrest follows a complaint filed in February 2024 by Tippala Srija, a business partner who invested ₹2.5 crore in Tritiyaa Fine Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. Dutt allegedly forged documents to remove Srija as director and replace her with his mother.
Investigations revealed a pattern of fraudulent activity dating back to 2019. Dutt’s previous venture, Sustainkart Marketplace, also involved celebrity partnerships, including collaborations with Keerthi Suresh, Kajal Agarwal, and Vedasri Nadendla. This company also reportedly collapsed after misappropriation of funds. He is also accused of defrauding investors through franchise opportunities for Naomi and Sustainkart Marketplace.
Dutt has a history of similar offenses, with previous bookings by the Jubilee Hills, Madhapur police, and the Hyderabad Central Crime Station. The police investigation is ongoing.
