Mon Dec 02 13:03:47 UTC 2024: ## Paris to Host Prestigious Le Bal des Débutantes 2024

**PARIS, FRANCE –** The highly anticipated Le Bal des Débutantes, a glittering annual event bringing together royalty, socialites, and A-list stars, will return to Paris on December 1st, 2024. Founded in 1958 and revived in 1992 by Ophélie Renouard, the ball offers a modern take on the traditional debutante event, celebrating the achievements of talented young women and emphasizing philanthropy.

This year’s event, held at the opulent Shangri-La Hotel, will see a new cohort of debutantes and their cavaliers making their societal debut. The selection process, overseen by Renouard, is rigorous, considering family legacy, personal achievements, and alignment with the ball’s empowering values. Between 20 and 25 young women from prominent families worldwide will participate, representing diverse backgrounds from royalty and entertainment to business and politics.

Past attendees have included prominent figures such as Princess Lissie Selassie of Ethiopia, Countess Lara-Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck, and British debutante Talitha Stern. Previous years have also seen the participation of Prince William’s cousins, Lady Kitty Spencer and Lady Amelia Windsor, and even Bruce Willis, who danced with his daughter Tallulah Willis in 2011.

Le Bal des Débutantes 2024 will support the ARCFA cardiology research unit of Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital and the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, both dedicated to improving pediatric cardiovascular care. The event is strictly by invitation only.
