**Mumbai, India –** Skoda Auto India has officially announced the pricing for its highly anticipated subcompact SUV, the Kylaq. The vehicle, which made its debut recently at ₹9.07 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), will now be available in four variants – Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige – ranging from ₹9.19 lakh to ₹16.84 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
Bookings for the Kylaq open today, with deliveries slated to begin on January 27, 2025. The SUV will make its public debut at the Bharat Mobility Show on January 17, 2024.
Built on Skoda’s MQB-A0-IN platform, the Kylaq will compete with established players like the Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, and Hyundai Venue. The SUV boasts a distinctive design, including Skoda’s signature butterfly grille, sleek LED DRLs, and split headlights, sharing design cues with the international Elroq SUV.
Features include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, a single-pane sunroof, automatic headlamps, and powered and ventilated seats. Safety is addressed with six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, and a reverse parking camera with sensors.
Powering the Kylaq is a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine generating 113 bhp and 178 Nm of torque, paired with both manual and automatic transmission options.
