**Hyderabad, Telangana:** The death of Kannada serial actress Shobitha, who was found dead in her Gachibowli residence on Sunday, has been officially ruled a suicide by Madhapur DCP Vineet. The DCP stated that the family has no suspicions surrounding her death, though the reasons behind the suicide are yet to be ascertained. Following a post-mortem, Shobitha’s body has been released to her family.
Police conducted a thorough investigation, including securing a suicide note from her home and recording statements from her husband, Sudheer Reddy, and neighbors. Preliminary investigations revealed no marital discord. However, the ongoing investigation is exploring both psychological factors and other potential contributing causes.
Police learned that Shobitha and Sudheer Reddy met through a Bengaluru matrimonial site. She reportedly stopped acting in serials after their marriage. Investigators are currently looking into her final communications with others to determine if any clues regarding her suicide can be identified. The family is expected to transport Shobitha’s body back to Bengaluru.
