**Allahabad, India** – A recent wave of misinformation claimed that the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) would not be conducting the SSC GD Constable Exam 2025, and a new commission would take over. This rumour, which spread rapidly among applicants, caused considerable confusion.
However, the SSC’s official website contains no such announcement. Applicants who checked the website found no confirmation of a change in the conducting body. The claim of a commission change is therefore considered false.
The SSC has already released the notification for the SSC GD Constable 2025 exam on September 5th, opening the application window until October 14th. A correction window was also available from November 5th to November 7th. The examination itself is scheduled for February 4th to 25th, 2025. The SSC will continue to administer the exam as planned.
