**Bengaluru, December 1, 2024** – Hero Future Energies Private Limited (HFEPL) has committed ₹11,000 crore to renewable energy and green hydrogen projects in Karnataka. The investment, announced Saturday in London, will create approximately 3,000 jobs over the next two to three years, beginning in 2025-26.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between HFEPL and the Karnataka government includes plans for projects in renewable energy, green hydrogen production, and related technologies. Karnataka’s Industries Minister, M.B. Patil, stated the government will expedite necessary approvals and incentives to facilitate timely project implementation.

This significant investment is viewed as a major boost to Karnataka’s preparations for the Invest Karnataka 2025 Global Investors Meet, which aims to foster a technologically advanced industrial environment.
