**Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, November 30, 2024** – The Coimbatore district administration has issued a strong warning to residents to avoid unnecessary travel from December 1st to 3rd due to an impending cyclonic storm. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in the region during this period.

Coimbatore Weatherman Santhosh Krish predicts very heavy rainfall on Sunday and Monday, with the cyclone expected to pass near Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, and Coimbatore on Sunday evening, impacting the area until Monday. The storm is forecast to weaken into a depression as it crosses Coimbatore.
