**Kannur, Kerala, December 1, 2024** – Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has directed the immediate absorption of employees at the Kannur Government Medical College. The order, announced following a meeting on November 30th, aims to address employee concerns regarding pending appointments and arrears.

The Chief Minister instructed the Finance department to process all related files within three weeks. A review of interim relief for employees is also underway, with a decision expected shortly. Furthermore, the Finance department has been tasked with allocating funds to settle outstanding payments owed to the Medical College staff.

The meeting included Health Minister Veena George, Chief Secretary Sarada Muraleedharan, and several senior officials from the Medical College and relevant departments.
