**Palakollu, West Godavari District:** A shocking incident unfolded in Palakollu, West Godavari district, where a woman allegedly attempted an acid attack on a man who had lent her money. Jayakrishna, a sales manager at a clothing store in Bhimavaram, had befriended a woman named Reshma from Vijayawada. Reshma, under the guise of friendship, borrowed money from Jayakrishna on multiple occasions but failed to repay the debt.
When Jayakrishna pressed her for repayment, Reshma devised a plan. She lured him to a meeting near Palakollu High School on November 6th, claiming she would return the money. Disguised in a burqa, she approached Jayakrishna and attempted to throw acid on him. However, Jayakrishna managed to evade the attack.
