**Khandwa:** Khandwa Girls’ College is observing AIDS Awareness Week with a series of events organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Red Ribbon Club. Principal Dr. Sanghamitra Duhe announced that the week’s activities kicked off Wednesday with poster-making and slogan-writing competitions on the theme of AIDS myths and diagnosis. Over 50 students participated. A large-scale human chain forming the Red Ribbon Club symbol is planned for Thursday, followed by street plays and awareness rallies on Friday. The events are being coordinated by a committee including Neelu Agrawal, Nitisha Chaurasia, Reena Malviya, Manish Munde, Sarika, Sangita Rai, and Sangita Pal. The focus is on educating students about AIDS awareness and prevention, emphasizing the importance of health rights.
