Sat Nov 30 07:50:24 UTC 2024: ## RSS Condemns Violence Against Hindus in Bangladesh, Demands Monk’s Release

**New Delhi, November 30, 2024** – The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has issued a strong condemnation of the escalating violence against Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh, demanding the immediate release of ISKCON monk Chinmoy Krishna Das, arrested earlier this week. In a statement released on Saturday, RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale urged the Bangladesh interim government to halt the atrocities, citing attacks, murders, looting, and arson targeting the Hindu community.

Hosabale criticized the Bangladeshi government for its inaction, stating that authorities are “silent spectators” to the violence. He specifically condemned the arrest of Das, who was apprehended while traveling to Chittagong, accusing the government of unjustly imprisoning a leader of peaceful protests.

The RSS also appealed to the Indian government to intensify its diplomatic efforts to stop the violence, calling for the building of international support to pressure Bangladesh. The statement emphasized the need for India and the global community to stand in solidarity with the victims and demand an end to the persecution. The RSS concluded by asserting that ending the violence is essential for world peace and brotherhood.
