PATNA, Bihar – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the answer key for the Multitasking Staff (MTS) exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam, held from September 30th to November 19th, can now download the answer key from the official SSC website, ssc.nic.in. A record 1,793,680 candidates registered for the recruitment drive in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh alone, competing for 9,583 vacancies (6,144 MTS and 3,439 Havaldar posts). The initial number of vacancies was 8,236, but was later increased.
Candidates can access their answer keys using their registration number and password. Along with the provisional answer key, the response sheets have also been released. Candidates have until December 2nd, 5 PM to raise objections to the answer key, with a fee of ₹100 per question challenged. The final answer key and results will be released after the objection window closes. Candidates are advised to download and print their answer sheets as they will not be available after the deadline.
Selection for the MTS posts will be based on the performance in the Computer Based Examination (CBE). For Havaldar posts, candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:7 ratio based on CBE performance to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standard Test (PET/PST).
