**HYDERABAD, November 30, 2024** – The Shalibanda police station in Hyderabad has been recognized as one of the eight best police stations in India by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The award, announced during the ongoing DGP/IGP conference, acknowledges the station’s exceptional performance in crime prevention, investigation, community policing, and overall efficiency.

Hyderabad’s Police Commissioner, C.V. Anand, expressed his delight at the achievement, highlighting the station’s dedication despite numerous additional duties. He specifically praised Station House Officer S. Ravi Kumar and his team. This marks the second time a Hyderabad police station has received national recognition of this kind, with Panjagutta PS receiving the award in 2018. Commissioner Anand expressed hope that more Hyderabad police stations will achieve similar accolades in the future.
