**Mumbai, India** – Mahindra has launched its highly anticipated XEV 9e, a large electric SUV poised to shake up the Indian EV market. The vehicle boasts a striking design, spacious interior, and a range of advanced features, all at a competitive price point.

The XEV 9e commands attention with its imposing size (4,789mm long, 1,907mm wide, 1,694mm high) and unique design elements. A large LED light panel dominates the front, complemented by a stylish grille-like detail and a sizeable 150-liter frunk. The profile showcases 20-inch wheels and a sweeping roofline, while the rear features another prominent LED light panel and a 663-liter boot.

Inside, the futuristic cabin features a triple 12.3-inch screen dashboard, offering ample information and entertainment. Passengers enjoy comfortable seating and generous space, enhanced by a panoramic moonroof with integrated light panels. A 16-speaker audio system and multiple USB-C charging ports further elevate the in-car experience. Safety is prioritized with Mahindra’s Driver and Occupant Monitoring System, which utilizes a roof-mounted camera for driver alertness monitoring, video calls, and security.

Powering the XEV 9e are two battery pack options: 59kWh and 79kWh, delivering ranges of 542km and 656km respectively. Power outputs reach 170kW and 210kW, with 380Nm of torque. The SUV benefits from the INGLO platform, incorporating features like semi-active dampers and a variable gear ratio steering system for a refined driving experience. A notable feature is the automatic parking system, operable both inside and remotely.

On the road, the XEV 9e delivers impressive acceleration and agile handling, despite its size. While the braking feel could be improved, the overall ride comfort and noise insulation are exceptional. A “Boost” mode provides extra power for effortless overtaking.
