Sat Nov 30 02:30:00 UTC 2024: ## Duke Dominates Seattle, Cruises to 70-48 Victory

**DURHAM, N.C. –** The No. 11 Duke Blue Devils bounced back from their loss to Kansas with a decisive 70-48 victory over the Seattle Redhawks Friday night. The Blue Devils stifled the Redhawks’ offense, holding them to a dismal 21.3% shooting performance (10-of-47).

Tyrese Proctor led Duke with 13 points, while freshman Cooper Flagg contributed a near triple-double with nine points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. The Blue Devils’ dominance was evident in the second half, where they outscored Seattle 27-7 and held the Redhawks scoreless for the first eight minutes. A 13-0 run to start the second half, highlighted by a transition three-pointer from Proctor, effectively sealed the victory.

Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe led Seattle with nine points and 12 rebounds, but the Redhawks struggled to find any offensive rhythm throughout the game. Their shooting woes were particularly pronounced in the second half, where they missed 13 consecutive shots before finally breaking the drought.

The win marks a much-needed rebound for Duke after their defeat in the Vegas Showdown. Their next challenge is a significant one: a home matchup against No. 4 Auburn in the ACC/SEC Challenge on Wednesday. Seattle, meanwhile, will host Portland State on the same night.
