The funding, part of the Special Assistance to States/Union Territories for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme, will support the Ramappa Region Sustainable Tourism Circuit (₹73.74 crore) and the Somasila Wellness & Spiritual Retreat Nallamala (₹68.10 crore).

The loans, repayable over 50 years, are part of a larger initiative approving 40 projects across 23 states to upgrade iconic tourist destinations. The announcement was made by Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Sekhawat on Friday.

The Ramappa Region project, centered around the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ramappa Temple (Kakatiya Rudreshwara Temple), will encompass infrastructure development in Incherla village, Ramappa Island, Kota Gullu Temple, and Ghanpur village.
