**THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, November 30, 2024** – A 41-year-old man, Biju of Njavelikonam in Kilimanoor, succumbed to a head injury sustained during an assault on November 17th. He had been undergoing treatment at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital. Police reported that the attack was perpetrated by Rajeev, a local resident, following an argument over Biju’s refusal to allow his daughter to marry Rajeev. Rajeev allegedly bludgeoned Biju with a stone. He was apprehended the same day and remains in judicial custody.
