**Vijayawada, November 30, 2024** – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has put the state on high alert in anticipation of widespread damage from Cyclone Fengal. High tidal waves were already reported in Visakhapatnam on Saturday.
Following a high-level meeting with district collectors and disaster management officials, Mr. Naidu stressed the importance of coordination to minimize the cyclone’s impact. He suggested using WhatsApp groups to facilitate communication and ensure swift response.
The CM instructed officials to prepare for potential flash floods and to implement preemptive relief and rehabilitation measures. He also emphasized the need to keep farmers informed about the evolving situation, allowing them to take protective measures for their crops.
