**NEW DELHI –** A new book detailing the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) governance model in Delhi is set to launch on December 15th. Authored by AAP leader and policy expert Jasmine Shah, “The Delhi Model: A Bold New Road Map to Building a Developed India,” published by Penguin Random House India, will provide an in-depth analysis of the AAP’s reforms across various sectors.

The book, announced on the party’s 13th foundation day, chronicles the implementation of the “Delhi Model,” which prioritizes human capital development and improved public services. It examines the model’s economic foundations and offers comparisons with other governance models in India, particularly the Gujarat Model.

Shah, formerly vice chairperson of Delhi’s Dialogue and Development Commission, details the AAP government’s achievements in education, healthcare, air pollution control, transportation, electricity, and water management.

The book has already garnered praise from prominent figures. Former Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan lauded it as an “interesting and accessible account” offering a compelling template for prioritizing human capital. Former Supreme Court Judge Justice Madan Lokur highlighted the model’s successful implementation and its impact on fundamental rights, particularly in health and education. The book promises to be a significant contribution to the ongoing debate on effective governance and development in India.
