**Guntur, Andhra Pradesh –** Former President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, and Andhra Pradesh Governor Syed Abdul Nazeer shared a busy weekend, culminating in the attendance of the 16th convocation of K.L. Deemed to be University in Tadepalli, Guntur district on Saturday. The event followed a Friday evening dinner hosted by Governor Nazeer in Kovind’s honour at Raj Bhavan.
The dinner was attended by the Governor’s wife, Sameera Nazeer, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, his wife N. Bhuvaneswari, and members of Mr. Kovind’s family, according to a Raj Bhavan release. The weekend events highlight the strong ties between the former President and the current Andhra Pradesh administration.
