**Podgorica, Montenegro –** The U.S. Embassy in Podgorica announced its closure on Thanksgiving Day, November 28th, 2024, wishing everyone a happy holiday. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the embassy’s opening.
The embassy also provided emergency contact information for U.S. citizens in Montenegro: (020) 410 500 (during office hours) and +382 20 410 500 (outside of office hours and from outside Montenegro).
In addition to the holiday announcement, the embassy highlighted the cultural significance of Thanksgiving, explaining its origins and traditions.
