**Kolkata, [Date]:** The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kolkata has released the response sheets for the CAT 2024 examination. Candidates who appeared for the exam on November 24th, 2024, can now access their response sheets and are eagerly awaiting the release of the provisional answer key.

The answer key will be made available on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. Candidates can access and download the key using their login credentials. Following past trends, the provisional answer key is expected to be released within 10 days of the exam. Candidates will be given a window to raise objections against the answer key. The final answer key and results will be declared after addressing these objections.

The CAT exam, conducted in three shifts across various centers nationwide, saw participation from approximately 2.93 lakh candidates out of 3.29 lakh registered candidates, representing an 89% attendance rate. The breakdown includes 1.07 lakh female, 1.86 lakh male, and five transgender candidates. The exam consisted of 68 questions divided into three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) with 24 questions, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) with 22 questions, and Quantitative Ability (QA) with 22 questions.
