**Hyderabad:** Kerala secured a thrilling three-wicket victory over Services in a T20 match held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Chasing a 150-run target, Kerala reached the finish line in 18 overs, losing 7 wickets in the process.

Sanju Samson and Rohan S Kunnummal provided a solid start for Kerala, forging a 73-run opening partnership. Kunnummal contributed 27 runs before being dismissed, followed by Vishnu Vinod (4) in the same over. Samson then formed a 44-run partnership with Muhammed Azharuddeen before both fell in quick succession. Samson top-scored with a scintillating 75 off 45 balls, including 3 sixes and 10 fours, before being caught at long-off.

While other Kerala batsmen like Sachin Baby (6), Abdul Basith (1), and Akhil (1) failed to make significant contributions, Salman Nizar (17) and Sijo Mon Joseph (0) steered the team to victory. Pulkit Narang was the pick of the Services bowlers, claiming four wickets.

Earlier, Akhil Scaria spearheaded Services’ downfall, taking an impressive five wickets for Kerala. Four of these wickets tumbled in a single over, highlighting his devastating spell. He conceded only 30 runs in his four overs. Mohit Ahlawat top-scored for Services with 41 runs off 29 balls. Services’ innings was hampered by a poor start, losing two early wickets before the powerplay ended. The lower middle order, however, showed some resistance, with a 49-run partnership between Arun Kumar (28) and Ahlawat.
