Thu Nov 28 14:40:00 UTC 2024: **Many Restaurants to Remain Open on Thanksgiving Day**

**Nationwide** – With Thanksgiving on November 28th, many Americans will be celebrating with family and friends. For those traveling or opting out of cooking, numerous restaurant chains will offer dining options, though hours vary significantly by location.

Fast food giants McDonald’s and Subway will have varying hours, while Cracker Barrel and Hooters will be open for the holiday. Coffee lovers can count on Starbucks and Dunkin’, although their hours may also vary.

Several chains confirmed they will be closed: Chick-fil-A, most KFC locations, Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Texas Roadhouse, Red Lobster (US locations), Chili’s, and First Watch.

Others, such as Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Burger King, Subway, IHOP, Denny’s, Applebee’s (select locations with reduced hours), Domino’s (check local stores), and Whataburger, will be open, but consumers should check their local restaurant’s hours beforehand as schedules differ. Hooters will have special hours, opening at 4 p.m. (midnight close), except in Michigan and Dallas, where locations will open earlier to accommodate local sporting events. Fogo de Chão will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Consumers are advised to check individual restaurant websites or apps for specific hours of operation in their area.
