**Hyderabad, November 27, 2024** – A joyride ended tragically early Wednesday morning when a speeding car carrying four classmates crashed into a tree near Water Plant Kolthur, on the outskirts of Hyderabad. One of the passengers, 23-year-old Farhan Ahmed Ansari, was killed in the accident, while three others sustained injuries.
The group, reportedly traveling from Hyderabad to Kondapochamma around 4:10 a.m., were in a car driven by Shakir. Shakir, along with passengers Rizwan and Abdullah, are currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad. Police believe the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the collision.
Genome Valley police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
