**SRIKAKULAM, Andhra Pradesh –** Srikakulam MLA Gondu Shankar inaugurated 25 new bus services on Wednesday, promising the imminent rollout of free bus travel for women, a pledge made by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) during the 2024 general elections. The new services, launched at the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) complex, aim to improve public transport, particularly for women. Shankar criticized the previous YSR Congress Party government for neglecting bus maintenance and the addition of new routes. Several APSRTC officials attended the event.
