**TIRUMALA, November 26, 2024** – The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is accelerating the construction of a new Pilgrim Amenities Complex (PAC-5) in Tirumala, aimed at improving the experience for visiting pilgrims. A review meeting chaired by TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary on Tuesday assessed the project’s progress.
Engineering officers briefed Mr. Chowdary on the ongoing work, prompting him to urge officials to expedite the project and set firm deadlines for each construction phase. He emphasized maintaining the highest quality of materials throughout the process.
PAC-5 will include key facilities such as an expanded Anna Prasadam Dining Hall, a Kalyana Katta (pilgrims’ tonsuring area), and upgraded dispensary services. Mr. Chowdary stressed the importance of these amenities and instructed officials to prioritize their timely completion. The project is expected to significantly enhance the pilgrimage experience for visitors to the Tirumala temple.
