**Mumbai, India** – Mahindra has launched its highly anticipated electric SUV coupe, the XUV 9e, alongside the BE 6e. The XUV 9e, priced starting at Rs. 21.9 lakh (ex-showroom), boasts a striking design featuring triangular headlights, inverted L-shaped DRLs, a blanked-off grille, and a refreshed rear with connected taillights. The SUV also includes new alloy wheels with aero inserts and C-pillar-mounted rear door handles.

Inside, the XUV 9e offers a luxurious experience with a three-screen dashboard, a new two-spoke steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, and a 1400-watt Harman Kardon sound system. Advanced features include a Level 2 ADAS suite, 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, and wireless mobile projection. Safety is prioritized with seven airbags.

Powering the XUV 9e is a 59kWh battery pack and an electric motor producing 228bhp and 380Nm of torque. Mahindra claims a range of 656km on a single charge, with a 20-80% recharge time of just 20 minutes using a 140kW DC fast charger. The SUV can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 6.8 seconds.

With a wheelbase of 2,775mm and a ground clearance of 207mm, the Mahindra XUV 9e represents a significant step forward in the Indian electric vehicle market. The launch of both the XUV 9e and BE 6e signals Mahindra’s commitment to expanding its electric vehicle portfolio.
