NEW DELHI, November 21, 2024 – The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the results for the Preliminary Examination of the Probationary Officer (PO) recruitment process. Candidates can access their results on the official IBPS website, http://www.ibps.in, using their registration number/roll number and password/date of birth. The results will be available on the website until November 28, 2024.
The preliminary exam was conducted on October 19th, 20th, and 30th, 2024, across various centers in India. The recruitment process, which includes a total of 3955 vacancies across 11 banks, began with registrations opening on August 1st and closing on August 28th. Admit cards were issued on October 11th.
The main examination is scheduled for November 30th, 2024, with admit cards expected to be released in the third week of November. Scorecards for the preliminary exam will also be released shortly. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates.
The vacancies are distributed across several banks, including Bank of Baroda (885), Canara Bank (750), Central Bank of India (1500), Indian Overseas Bank (260), Punjab National Bank (200), and Punjab & Sind Bank (360), among others. Selected candidates will be appointed as Probationary Officers or Management Trainees with a starting salary ranging from ₹52,000 to ₹55,000 per month. Final selection will be based on performance in both the preliminary and main examinations, followed by an interview.
