**Leh, Ladakh – November 26, 2024** – The District Administration of Leh today observed National Constitution Day with a ceremony at the DC Office Conference Hall. Deputy Commissioner Santosh Sukhadeve led the event, reading the Preamble of the Indian Constitution and administering a pledge to attending officials.

The celebration included a brief overview of the Constitution’s adoption in 1949. DC Sukhadeve emphasized the Constitution’s significance as the nation’s identity and pride, urging citizens to understand their rights and duties as enshrined within. He stressed the importance of constitutional principles for personal and national growth.

Additional District Development Commissioner Sonam Nurboo, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ghulam Mohmad, and Chief Planning Officer Tsewang Gyalson were among those present. CPO Gyalson further elaborated on the Preamble, highlighting the values of brotherhood, social and economic justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
