**Fujairah, UAE –** Acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Thamar KV, known for his critically lauded debut *1001 Nunakal*, is set to begin production on his second feature film on November 27th. The yet-to-be-titled project will be filmed in Fujairah, UAE, and features a stellar cast including Asif Ali, Divya Prabha, Deepak Parambol (of *Manjummel Boys* fame), and Orhan.

The film, a feel-good drama with survival elements, will once again focus on the lives of Malayali expatriates in the Gulf, a theme explored in Thamar’s debut. He has also penned the script. The project is produced by Ajith Vinayaka, with Crispin Dominic serving as co-producer. Govind Vasantha will compose the music.

Asif Ali, who has several other projects in the pipeline including *Rekhachithram*, *Tiki Taka*, and *Abhyanthara Kuttavali*, will star alongside Divya Prabha, who recently appeared in the Cannes Film Festival award-winning *All We Imagine As Light*.
