Tue Nov 26 12:58:59 UTC 2024: ## Pakistan Levels ODI Series Against Zimbabwe with Ten-Wicket Win
**Bulawayo, Zimbabwe:** Pakistan has leveled its three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe after a resounding ten-wicket victory in the second match played in Bulawayo on Tuesday. This win follows a rain-affected first match loss by 80 runs.
Pakistan chased down Zimbabwe’s paltry total of 146 runs in a mere 18.2 overs without losing a wicket. The victory was largely due to a stunning century by opening batsman, Saim Ayub. The 22-year-old smashed an unbeaten 113 runs off just 62 balls, including 17 fours and three sixes, marking his maiden ODI century. This feat also secured him a place in an elite club; Ayub’s innings is the joint-third fastest ODI century for Pakistan, behind only Shahid Afridi’s record-breaking performances. Abdullah Shafique provided able support with an unbeaten 32.
Zimbabwe’s innings faltered early, collapsing to 68/4, thanks to Pakistan’s spinners. Abrar Ahmed led the bowling attack with four wickets, while Agha Salman claimed three. Top scores for Zimbabwe came from Dion Myers (33) and Sean Williams (31). Ayub was named Player of the Match. The final ODI will determine the series winner.
